Welcome to the web site of the Indiana Chapter of the American Planning Association!

APA Indiana serves the interests and needs of citizen and professional community planners and others in “Making Great Communities Happen” in Indiana.  APA Indiana promotes public interest in planning and the development of Indiana’s resources and assists its membership in improving their knowledge and understanding of planning through annual conferences and other training and educational opportunities throughout the year.

APA Indiana provides a statewide network of support for the 619 member planners and facilitates individual participation in the national affairs of the APA.  APA Indiana fully encourages and supports membership in the American Institute of Certified Planners.  APA Indiana also serves as an advocate recommending and supporting sound legislation related to planning issues at local, state, and national levels.
