Announcing the 2014 Hoosier Planning Award Winners

The annual APA-IN Hoosier Planning Awards honor excellence in the plans, individuals and organizations that have advanced the practice of planning within the state.  They are truly a celebration of the best of Indiana planning projects, plans and people.

The 2014 awards were presented by Josh Desmond, the APA-IN Awards Committee Chair, at this year’s spring conference that was held in Muncie.  The following organizations and individuals were honored with awards:

Outstanding Plan: The Fishers Community Art Master Plan (Town of Fishers)

Outstanding Best Practice: Creating Livable Communities Program (Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission)

Outstanding Student Project: Bedford/Lawrence County Capstone Project (Indiana University, School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Spring – 2013 V600 Class)

Congratulations to all of the 2014 Hoosier Planning Award winners for a job well done!
